DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in EMC Data Protection Advisor,
which can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain
actions with escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to insecure permissions on certain
files, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 5.7 Build 5833 and
5.7.1 Build 5833 running on Solaris SPARC.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.7 (Build 5833), 5.7.1 (Build 5833), 5.7 Patch
DPA-8873, or 5.7.1 Patch DPA-8873.
