DESCRIPTION:
High-Tech Bridge SA has discovered a vulnerability in the Mingle
Forum plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious users
to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed via BBCode in the "message" POST parameter to
wp-content/plugins/mingle-forum/wpf-insert.php (when
"add_topic_submit" or "add_post_submit" is set to any value) is not
properly sanitised before being displayed to the user in
wp-content/plugins/mingle-forum/wpf.class.php. This can be exploited
to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a
user's browser session in context of an affected site when the
malicious data is being viewed.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.29. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
