DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in the User Photo component for
WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a
vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the
wp-content/plugins/user-photo/user-photo.php script not properly
validating uploaded file types, which can be exploited to e.g.
execute arbitrary PHP code by uploading a specially crafted PHP
file.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.9.4. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.9.5.1.
