DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in libxml, which can be exploited
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when traversing the XPath
axis of certain XML files. This can be exploited to cause a crash when
an application using the library processes a specially crafted XML
file.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.7.8.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.7.8.
