DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in BlackBerry Enterprise Server,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service) or potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the
PDF distiller of the BlackBerry Attachment Service component. The
vulnerability can be exploited to cause a memory corruption when a
specially crafted PDF file is opened for viewing on a BlackBerry
smartphone.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in BlackBerry Enterprise Server
versions 5.0.2, 5.0.1, 5.0.0, 4.1.7.
SOLUTION:
Update to the latest version or apply the Interim Security Update.
