DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Nuance PDF Reader, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when parsing
certain objects and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow via a specially crafted PDF file.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 6 (PD-1031-001-1109.1).
Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 6 (PD-1031-001-10472.1).
