DESCRIPTION:
Secunia Research has discovered two vulnerabilities in phpBugTracker,
which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection
attacks and compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed via the "bugid" parameter to attachment.php when
uploading a file is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL
query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting
arbitrary SQL code.

2) The "add_attachment()" function in attachment.php allows upload of
files with arbitrary extensions to a folder inside the web root. This
can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by uploading a PHP
file.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities requires "Developer"
permissions.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.5. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Restrict access to the "attachments/" directory (e.g. via .htaccess).
