DESCRIPTION:
Salvatore Fresta has discovered two vulnerabilities in WhiteBoard,
which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
Input passed via the "displayname" and "email" parameters to
index.php (when "act" is set to "controlPanel" and "page" is set to
"acct") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries in
pages/controlpanel.php. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL
queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.1.30. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
