DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in OpenTTD, which can be exploited
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to the "NetworkSyncCommandQueue()"
function in src/network/network_command.cpp not properly resetting
the "next" pointer, which can be exploited to trigger an endless loop
and exhaust CPU resources when joining a server.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 1.0.1 and 1.0.2. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Reportedly, this will be fixed in the upcoming version 1.0.3.
