DESCRIPTION:
SkyLined has discovered a vulnerability in UltraEdit, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the Spell
Checker (aspell6.dll) functionality. This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow via an overly long string.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 15.20 and confirmed in
version 16.00. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 16.10.
