DESCRIPTION:
Bartlomiej Balcerek has reported a security issue in PBS
Professional, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to
perform certain actions with escalated privileges.
The security issue is caused due to a race condition within the
pbs_mom daemon while handling temporary files in
/var/spool/pbs/spool. This can be exploited to overwrite arbitrary
files via symlink attacks.
The security issue is reported in versions 5.x through 10.2.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 10.4.
