HTTP File Server Security Bypass and Denial of Service

DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has reported two vulnerabilities in HTTP File Server,
which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions or cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) An error when processing HTTP requests containing "%00" characters
can be exploited to download files from restricted folders.

2) An error when processing HTTP requests containing "%" characters
can be exploited to hang an affected server.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.2f.
