DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Mahara, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions
and by malicious users and malicious people to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
1) Some vulnerabilities are caused due to the use of vulnerable
Smarty code.
Note: This only affects versions prior to 1.0.14 and 1.1.8.

2) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being
used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries
by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Note: Successful exploitation on versions prior to 1.2 requires a
valid user account.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.0.14, 1.1.8, or 1.2.4.
