DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Tiny Java Web Server
(TJWS), which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose
sensitive information.
1) An input sanitation error exists when handling certain HTTP
requests, which can be exploited to disclose the contents of
arbitrary directories and files via directory traversal attacks.
Successful exploitation may require a Windows system.
2) An input sanitation error exists when handling certain HTTP
requests, which can be exploited to e.g. disclose the content of
restricted files via specially crafted requests containing "%2f".
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.71. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
