DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in TANDBERG MXP FIPS140, which can
be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing H.255 RAS
URQ requests. This can be exploited to crash a device by sending a lot
of RAS URQ requests.
Successful exploitation requires that the H.323 Gatekeeper mode is
set to "On" or "Auto".
The vulnerability is reported in version F8.2, F8.0, F7.2, and F6.3.
Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Filter malicious requests using a firewall.
