DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in OpenBSD, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL pointer dereference error
within the "ip_ctloutput()" function in sys/netinet/ip_output.c and
the "ip6_ctloutput()" function in sys/netinet6/ip6_output.c. This can
be exploited to crash an affected kernel by calling "getsockopt()"
with e.g. IP_AUTH_LEVEL, IP_ESP_TRANS_LEVEL, IP_ESP_NETWORK_LEVEL, or
IP_IPCOMP_LEVEL.

Note: Successful exploitation requires root privileges.
