DESCRIPTION:
Michele Orru has reported a vulnerability in Eclipse BIRT, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Certain input passed to the "__report" parameter when trying to
display a report is not properly sanitised before being returned to
the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script
code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.5.0.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.5.0.
