TITLE:
OSSIM Multiple Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA36867

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/36867/

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in OSSIM, which can be
exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks, and by
malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information and
conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to the "id_document" parameter in
repository/repository_document.php, repository/repository_links.php,
and repository/repository_editdocument.php, the "group" parameter in
policy/getpolicy.php, and to the "name" parameter in
host/newhostgroupform.php and potentially other scripts is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires valid user credentials.

2) Input passed to the "option" parameter of the indexing script is
not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

3) The application does not properly restrict access to the
graphs/alarms_events.php and host/draw_tree.php scripts, which can be
exploited to disclose potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.1 and 2.1.1. Prior
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Reportedly fixed in version 2.1.2.
