DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in multiple Hitachi products, which
can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the
Hitachi Device Manager server and can be exploited to bypass intended
access restrictions.

Successful exploitation requires that the application is running in
an IPv6 environment and that the CIDR format is used in rules
restricting network access.

The vulnerability is reported in Hitachi Device Manager Software and
Hitachi JP1/HiCommand DeviceManager.

SOLUTION:
Apply vendor patches (please see vendor advisory for details).
