DESCRIPTION:
ahwak2000 has discovered a vulnerability in Fat Player, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
WAV files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow when a specially crafted WAV file is being played.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.6b. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not open files from untrusted sources.
