DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Snom VoIP Phones, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the authentication
process when processing HTTP "Host" headers. This can be exploited to
bypass authentication and e.g. read and modify all configuration
parameters of the phone or perform other administrative actions via
an HTTP request with a "Host" header set to "127.0.0.1".
The vulnerability is reported in Snom300, Snom320, Snom360, Snom370,
and Snom820 with firmware versions below 6.5.20, 7.1.39 and 7.3.14.
SOLUTION:
Update to firmware version 6.5.20, 7.1.39, 7.3.14 or higher.
