DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Akamai Download Manager, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in manager.exe
when handling Redswoosh downloads. This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted HTTP response.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 2.2.3.7 and prior.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.2.4.8 or later.
