TITLE:
myColex Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA35112
VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/35112/
DESCRIPTION:
YEnH4ckEr has discovered some vulnerabilities in myColex, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed to the "year" parameter in modules/kalender.php, to the
"Page" parameter in modules/ereignis.php, the "Kontext" parameter in
modules/kategorie.php, and to the "image" parameter in
modules/image.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to
the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script
code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.4.2. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
