VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/35111/

DESCRIPTION:
YEnH4ckEr has reported some vulnerabilities in myColex, which can be
exploited by malicious people and malicious users to conduct SQL
injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "formUser" parameter in common/login.php is
not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows bypassing the
authentication mechanism.

2) Input passed to the "ID" parameter in modules/kategorie.php,
modules/medium.php, modules/person.php, and modules/schlagwort.php is
not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries in
classes/class.perform.php. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL
queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user
credentials.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.4.2. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
The vendor has issued an updated version 1.4.2 on 2009-05-07.
