TITLE:
Ingate Firewall and SIParator Multiple Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA34543

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/34543/

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Ingate Firewall and
SIParator, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
spoofing attacks, bypass certain security restrictions, or cause a
DoS (Denial of Service).

1) An error when an IPsec tunnel that has the remote network set to
"Remote/private address" is allowed to configure the unit can result
in the unit being configurable by everyone.

2) An unspecified error in the "IDS/IPS" implementation allows SIP
packets to bypass spoofing and IPsec checks.

3) An error when validating the signature of DSA and ECDSA keys can
be exploited to potentially spoof server certificates.

For more information:
SA33338

4) An error within the verification of the HMAC digest can be
exploited to increase the chance of successfully spoofing a SNMPv3
packet.

For more information:
SA30574

5) An error while enforcing the "reject" policy for packets from
unused gateways can be exploited to bypass the spoofing protection.

6) Multiple errors in the SIP module can be exploited to cause
crashes or hangs via specially crafted packets.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 4.7.1.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 4.7.1.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
