DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service), bypass certain security restrictions, and potentially gain
escalated privileges.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to unspecified errors in the Doors
subsystem of the Solaris kernel. These can be exploited to hang an
arbitrary door server process, to access files without the necessary
permissions, or to potentially execute arbitrary code in the kernel
context.

The vulnerabilities are reported in Sun Solaris 8, 9, and 10 for both
the SPARC and x86 platforms.

Apply patches.

Solaris 9:
Apply patch 122300-37 or later.

Solaris 10:
Apply patch 137137-05 or later.
