DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Sun xVM VirtualBox, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in an
unspecified package, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary
commands with root privileges.
Successful exploitation requires permission to run VirtualBox.
The vulnerability is reported in Sun xVM VirtualBox 2.0.0, 2.0.2,
2.0.4, 2.0.6r39760, 2.1.0, 2.1.2, and 2.1.4r42893 for the Linux
platform.
NOTE: Only packages marked as "All distributions" are affected by
this issue.
SOLUTION:
Update to Sun xVM VirtualBox 2.0.6r43001 or 2.1.4r43001.
