Sun has acknowledged two vulnerabilities in libxml2 in Solaris, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of

The vulnerabilities are reported in Sun Solaris 9 and 10 for both the
SPARC and x86 platforms.
SOLUTION:
Do not process untrusted xml files.
A final resolution is pending completion for Solaris 9 and 10.
OpenSolaris:
Fixed in build snv_106 or later.
