DESCRIPTION:
Jeremy Brown has discovered a vulnerability in SilverSHielD, which
can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing the SFTP
"opendir" command. This can be exploited to crash the service by
passing a specially crafted argument to the affected command.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.2.34. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
