DESCRIPTION:
James Bercegay has discovered some vulnerabilities in Advanced
Electron Forum (AEF), which can be exploited by malicious people to
compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to insecure calls of
"preg_replace()" with the "e" modifier. These can be exploited to
inject and execute arbitrary PHP code e.g. via the "email" tag when
posting to the forum.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.0.6. Prior
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.0.7.
