DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Xen, which can be exploited by
malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or
potentially bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the PVFB (Para
Virtualized Frame Buffer) functionality. This can be exploited to
cause a crash or potentially execute arbitrary code in Dom0 via a
specially crafted description for the shared framebuffer.
The vulnerability is reported in version 3.2.1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the mercurial repository.
