The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the PVFB (Para Virtualized Frame Buffer) functionality. This can be exploited to cause a crash or potentially execute arbitrary code in Dom0 via a specially crafted description for the shared framebuffer. The vulnerability is reported in version 3.2.1. Other versions may also be affected.
