DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in various CA products, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error within
the DSM gui_cm_ctrls ActiveX control (gui_cm_ctrls.ocx) when handling
arguments to certain unspecified methods. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary code when a user e.g. is tricked into visiting a
malicious website.

The vulnerability is reported in the following versions:

Laptops & Desktops is affected. For CA Desktop Management Suite,
Unicenter Desktop Management Bundle, Unicenter Asset Management,
Unicenter Software Delivery and Unicenter Remote Control, only the
Managers and DSM Explorers are affected. Scalability Servers and
Agents are not affected.
