DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Coppermine Photo Gallery,
which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
Input passed as MIME media types from remote HTTP servers when
performing URI/URL Uploads in upload.php is not properly sanitised
before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate
SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires valid user credentials.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.4.16. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.4.17.
