DESCRIPTION:
shinnai has reported a vulnerability in Microsoft Visual InterDev,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the
handling of ".sln" files and can be exploited to cause a buffer
overflow via a specially crafted ".sln" file containing an
overly-long "Project" field.
The vulnerability is reported in version 6.0 (SP6). Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted ".sln" files.
