DESCRIPTION:
H-T TeaM have discovered two vulnerabilities in TUTOS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or to
compromise a vulnerable system.
1) The php/admin/cmd.php script does not properly restrict access to
logged-in users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary shell
commands.
2) It is possible to view certain system information returned by the
"phpinfo()" function by accessing the php/admin/phpinfo.php script
directly.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3.20070317. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to php/admin/cmd.php and php/admin/phpinfo.php (e.g.
with ".htaccess").
Use another product.
