DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in Foxit WAC Server,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the Foxit WAC Server
service (wacsvr.exe) and can be exploited to cause the service to
crash via a specially crafted packet sent to the Telnet port (default
port 23/TCP).
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.0 build 3503 and reported
in version 2.1.0.910. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict network access to the service.
