DESCRIPTION:
k1tk4t has discovered a vulnerability in FreeWebshop.org, which can
be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions and to disclose sensitive information.
The index.php script (when "page" is set to "customer" and "action"
to "show") does not properly restrict access to logged-in users and
can be exploited by passing usernames and user IDs in the "fws_cust"
cookie. This can be exploited to e.g. disclose the administrator
username and password.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.2.7. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Implement proper user credential checks.
Use another product.
