DESCRIPTION:
Kacper has discovered two vulnerabilities in wpQuiz, which can be
exploited by malicious people and malicious users to conduct SQL
injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "id" parameter in viewimage.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that
"magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
2) Input passed to the "id" parameter in comments.php is not properly
sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user
credentials and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.7. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
