DESCRIPTION:
Skien has reported a vulnerability in AirKiosk, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed in the URL to the "I7/81015lfa" script (when there is at
least one more parameter in the query string) is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.
Successful exploitation requires that the target user is running a
browser that does not URL-encode the request (e.g. Internet Explorer
6).
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
