DESCRIPTION:
Michael Brooks has reported some vulnerabilities in Simple Machines
Forum, which can be exploited by malicious users and malicious people
to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to certain parameters is not properly sanitised before
being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL
queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows to e.g. disclose the hash of the
administrator password.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.0.12 and
1.1.4.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.0.12 or 1.1.4.
