DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Sysstat, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated
privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to the systat.in script handling
temporary files in an insecure manner. This can be exploited to
delete arbitrary files via symlink attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in version 7.1.6. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
