DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Ipswitch Instant Messaging
Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an overwritten destructor and can
be exploited to crash the Ipswitch Instant Messaging Server through
the "DoAttachVideoSender", "DoAttachVideoReceiver",
"DoAttachAudioSender" or "DoAttachAudioReceiver" function by
establishing a TCP session with the IM Server service on port 5179.

The vulnerability is reported in version 2.0.5.30. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.0.7.
