DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Macrovision FLEXnet Connect,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the
"Download()" method of the Update Service Agent ActiveX control
(isusweb.dll), which can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but
requires that a user is e.g. tricked into visiting a malicious
website.
SOLUTION:
Set the kill-bit for the affected ActiveX control.
