DESCRIPTION:
iDefense Labs has reported a vulnerability in CHM Lib, which
potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise an
application using the vulnerable library.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing CHM files
and can be exploited to corrupt memory via a CHM file containing a
page of objects with a specially crafted page block length value.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code when a
malicious file is processed.
The vulnerability is reported in version 0.38. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.39.
