DESCRIPTION:
Omid has discovered some vulnerabilities in BLOG:CMS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "pitem" parameter in the NP_Poll plugin when
voting, the "User-Agent" and "Referer" HTTP headers, and via the URL
and the attacker's hostname in the NP_Log plugin, and via the URL in
the NP_Referrer plugin isn't properly sanitised before being used in
a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by
injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 4.1.0. Prior
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 4.1.1.
