people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise
a vulnerable system

Note: The vendor has reported that SUSE Linux 9.0 has been
discontinued.

SOLUTION:
Apply updated packages.

Updated packages are available using YaST Online Update or via the
SUSE FTP site.
