SOFTWARE:
Tunez 1.x

DESCRIPTION:
r0t has discovered two vulnerabilities in Tunez, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL
injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "song_id" parameter in "songinfo.php" isn't
properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Example:
http://[host]/tunez/songinfo.php?song_id=[sql]
2) Input passed to the "searchFor" parameter in "search.php" isn't
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
Example:
http://[host]/tunez/search.php?action=doSearch&searchFor=[code]&search_type=all
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.21. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
