DESCRIPTION:
trueend5 has discovered some vulnerabilities in PHP-Post, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and
script insertion attacks.
1) Input passed to the "user" parameter in "profile.php" and
"mail.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the
user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "subject" field when sending a post isn't
properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject
arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious
subject is viewed.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.0. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
