DESCRIPTION:
Luke Hutchison has reported a vulnerability in XFree86, which
potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain
escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow in the
allocation of pixmaps. This can be exploited to cause a heap based
buffer overflow by creating an overly large pixmap.
Successful exploitation may lead to execution of arbitrary code.
SOLUTION:
Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
